HAS SPRING SPRUNG?

“The promise of spring’s arrival is enough to get anyone through the bitter winter”  Jen Selinsky

For the past (almost) 7 months, all we’ve had is nothing but gusty winds, depressing rain and dark mornings. Lets not forget the “the beast from the East” who paid us another visit just last week. I’m all for the winter cliche of snow during Christmas time but in March…really….I thought it was Spring!

Thankfully, the weather here in London seems to be brightening up. Although I love Autumn & Winter (as its the best season for style), I think its safe to say farewell to the cold climate and welcome the sun and vibrant vibes with open arms.

This season, I’ll be sharing my own touch of spring style with a hint on minimalism; starting with this mens linen shirt and flared pants from Zara. I love pairing shirts with denim. It’s a simple yet bold style statement that is very comfortable too.

I opted for an extra large shirt, as I wanted a relaxed and oversize fit. A pair of skinny fit ankle grazer jeans would have cute with this fit but, who wants to look? I decided to ditch the denim uniform when I stumbled upon these wide leg pants in Zara. Did I mention they are high waisted too?….PERFECT!! Accessorised with a small necklace or a few bracelets would have added a touch of radiance and glow to this outfit however, that wasn’t the look I was aiming to achieve.

Now lets talk about makeup. I’ll be sharing a beauty post with you all on how to achieve a Spring/ Summer look which is suitable for you in another post; but in the meantime, I went for an effortless look with a nude lip which is my favourite lip shade of all time (it has knocked red off the number one spot). My main focus is always on my outfit as I’m able to express my confidence through that form.
