September was such an eventful month! I kicked off the first week by celebrating my best friend’s 27th birthday (click here to read my review on the restaurant we dined at) followed by a ton of late nights on the computer, carrying out research on Fashion week as well as sharing my favourite street style looks on Instagram. Responding to emails was a daily task that I had to fit into everything else alongside creating look books for clients and attending events such as Cocktails with Claire (CEO and founder of Fashionbomb Daily). Lets not forget being a full time mother and a part time employee too….
I only managed to squeeze in one blog post last month (click here to read) as I’ve been focusing on my wardrobe transition for this Autumn/ Winter season. Although I’m extremely behind (as most bloggers have kick started with their looks for fall), I’d prefer to take my time and produce and share better content with you guys. I feel like the past 9 months, I’ve shared a majority of outfits that are somewhat true to my style…but theres something missing. I managed to incorporate a theme of brighter shades and colour blocking into my looks, which is something I don’t often do. In one of my previous blog posts, I talked about contrast and finding the right balance when it comes to merging different shades (click here to read the full post) . In the next coming weeks, I’ll be focusing more on my favourite shades so stay tuned for that. In the meantime, heres an outfit including a lovely skirt which was made in Ghana.
